Based on what I see in your sample site, in my opinion, the Repository module will accomplish the functionality. You would create your categories and "upload" your listings or pages. The Repository comes with a Dashboard module too. Not knowing your specific requirements, I think spending some time with the Repository module would help you avoid the need to pay for something custom.

This link http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Documentation/DotNetNukeOnlineHelp/tabid/787/Default.aspx contains help and tutorials for DNN. Under the Content Management > Modules > Available Modules section you will see the Repository module listed I would start here

Also if you are interested, an entire 680+ page DNN manual (pdf) is available for sale here http://marketplace.dotnetnuke.com/p-189-dnn-online-help-doh-e-bookdnn-040600.aspx

The Repository Module looks like a great way to sort shared files, but I need to sort listings. Each listing will need to have a contact form attached to it. This way users can select a category, choose an opportunity, and email for more information. I need each email to tell me what opportunity the user is requesting more information on, without adding a huge drop down list. Will the Repository Module allow you to add a contact form to each listing?

Thanks,

Sean

Hi Sean,

Using the Repository...

I was thinking, each file (downloadable file) could be the additional information being requested such as a PDF to be downloaded by registered users only or all users, whichever you want.

And... if you want users to be able to request more info via email then

Each file has a HTML description area (e.g. listing) to describe the file. This is where you could put a mailto hyperlink to launch the users local mail client (e.g. Outlook Express or Windows Mail) with pre-defined email address, subject, message body thus allowing the user to request more info.

You are welcome to contact me on www.DNNSpired.com or by phone  to discuss your project further.
