Thanks for the idea HTH

I tried it but still nothing. I grabbed the source from IE7 to make sure that the properties were being set ....

"color:Black;background-color:#999999;border-width:2px;border-style:Ridge;font-family:Alba;font-size:6pt;" .As you can see the settings are there but have no effect. Strange though that it does not work but properties like pager.backcolor etc do. It appears to be only within the font area. I could understand something within the webserver published area to cause issues but not in VS or VWB.

Strange!

One more test.....I did a fresh DNN 4.6 install and created a new page with a gridview on it. Still acts stupid. About the only thing changing is the font name. So I am at a loss as to what the heck is going on here. In VS 2005 or VWB 2008 express I can create a standard ASP web site with gridviews that I can style. Inside DNN something changes and I lose the ability. SO is it just DNN or DNN and my environment?

It's always something!
