Can we use Hidden fields insted of cookies  to make the application more secured.

I think it depends on what kind of your business scenario.

Hidden field is easy to see when you see the page source. Cookies is also easy to see it's value when you use tools like FireBug or Burp Proxy. Both can be tampered. IMHO, cookies is more secure than hidden field (in normal situation). Except if you do protection to it's data using some encription method.

Cookies are limited in size, and retrieve in http header. Hidden fields is just like your ordinary field. You can place many hidden fields in a form and retrieve them using Request.Form["hiddenfieldname"].
