Where do you change the view - in the module settings or with the action buttons at the bottom of the container? If you do it in the module settings, there's a cache issue which makes the module keep the old view until the session is terminated. Workaround: close the browser window and open the page again.

What about the event details? Do you see the event names in the month view? What happens if you click on an event name? You should see the details page then.

I've tried changing the view both in the module settings and the action buttons. 

I do see the names in the month view, but when I click on the event name, nothing happens - I see only the month view where I began.

Thanks for the link!

Strange behaviour . I haven't seen that before. What's your DNN / module version? Can you try the same in a new, default portal? Perhaps there is a third party component interfering (just guessing).

yeah something isn't right -- you can even see the querystring changing for each view type.  what version dnn and events module are you using?

We're running version 03.03.08 of the events module and version 04.07.00 of DNN
