FYI: Removing the store modules (and their DLL files from bin) seems to have fixed the issue.  I'll be holding my breath for a few days to be sure it's really over, but for now it looks good.

In trying to resolve the problem (before finding this thread) I came across this from ScottGu, which may explain the issues with the Store module.

Here's crossing fingers, toes, everything!

I'm not sure if this was included in VS2008 SP1 beta or not.

It looks like your bug will be fixed in SP1 though.
