"DNN Online Help (DOH!) is written and updated by Lorraine Young for the DotNetNuke project. This content is freely available from the Online Help section of the DotNetNuke website or can be purchased in PDF format from theDotNetNuke Marketplace."

It is Lorraines work, she spend hours and hours on the help covering the core and all core projects. The IFrame team itself never provided any documentation. It was always a one man show over a long time. We are still looking for volunteers, but I fear you would call that also not  economical.

What I called "not economical" is buying a $30 piece of documentation to answer a single question.  However, now that it is clear that the online documentation is indeed updated regularly, the original concern has branched.  The $30 documentation works for someone that wants all of the answers before the question arises for their own needs/uses.  And the online documentation works for those like the fellow who started this thread that needs a quick answer to a question without waiting for an answer in the forum.

Almost 2 years ago, I would visit the online documentation often, and most times I would be greatly disappointed to not find any information in relation to my question.  This continued off and on for many months until I just gave up on the online documentation altogether.  It was not clear until recently how much work has been put into this reinvigoration of the documentation and that the same work was also online.

I was not at all attempting to discount the amount of work or dedication that anyone has done - including Lorraine Young.  I know as most do how valuable time is.  This is why I participate in the forums as much as I can.  So far, I find that this fits my schedule and ability to contribute while still accomplishing my goals and keeping my private and professional life up to par.

I greatly appreciate all of the work and time that all of you put in - you are all unsung heroes in the .Net development community.  But as I scanned and didn't read that blog post thoroughly, I think that you may have also done the same with my forum reply.  The economical value was pointed towards a specific situation, not product.  If I failed to convey that point completely to you or anyone else, I apologize.
