I'm using the fixed width dnn skin, but I need to change the width to a specific pixel width (760). I can't find it anywhere. I'd also like to know how to turn off the padding in the header area. Thanks

Hi,

You will have to modify the skin's .ascx file, and possibly the css file also.

you can find it in Website\Portals\_default\Skins\...

What you do is Copy the DNN-Blue folder to another location so that you can edit it.  Depending on whether you are using the horizontal or vertical menu skin open either "Horizontal Menu - Fixed Width.ascx" with an editor or notepad and change the table width, which is currently 770 to 670.

The padding is propably done in the skin.css file.

When you are done,  save and zip the DNN-Blue folder, and upload it as you would any other skin.

Warning! I did not do this myself, I'm just sucking this out of my thumb, but I'm sure if I'm talking utter crap someone will not hesitate to jump all over this post and set me right.

Regards

Julian
