Hi, Can an one of you tell me the difference between the admin skin and the portal skin. Because I am facing problem. In my dotnetnuke application have set Skin1 as portal skin and Skin2 as admin skin. And when I run my application then effect of Skin1 is coming in first page but when I move to next page or second page of my module then skin2 to is getting activate. And when I set both Portal and Admin skin the same one like Skin1. Then only same skin is showing whole the time. I don't know why it is happening. As per my point of view even in first case Skin1 should be activate whole the time because it is set as a portal skin. And what actually I want is I upload one skin Skin-New and Set it as a portal skin. It will show as skin all the time when my dotnetnuke application run and I dont want to set admin skin. Is there any way for this. So, any one of you kindly define me where I am doing mistake and how to solve it. Thank you all.................

Reyaz,

I don't believe this is any kind of mistake on your part.  The module that you are using is probably specifying a specific control to load when you navigate.  When that happens, DNN uses the admin skin.  I refer to this as 'module isololation' and its "just the way it is" :) (Maybe there are changes coming to this in the next version - I forget).

In my experience, this is just something that you need to be clear on when you are designing sites and modules so that you can account for it and acheive expected results.

Hope that helps,

Ian
