Ok so I have setup a DNN site for a private school which would like the parents to have a special "Parents Only" section. I have gone through and setup the pages and permissions properly however, here's the catch...

To lessen the burden on the school staff, they would like to just have ONE parent account for all parents. This sounded great in theory until the parents began logging in. Then over the weekend the login stopped working. Upon digging into the user permissions, I'd found that one of the parents decided to update all the user information with his own and changed the password while he was at it.

Sooooo... Is there a way I can setup an account but not allow that account to update password / details or am I missing something obvious?

Thanks!

Sorry, Bob, there is currently no option to restrict access to the user's own profile. I suggest to use individual accounts for all parents, this will be easier to handle, when a child left the school - otherwise all parents will need to get (and remember) a new password.
