Yeah I thought that is how it was supposed to work.

I also kind of had a feeling it may be a version thing as  well with all the small problems I seem to be having. Anyway, I am using:

DotNetNuke 4.0.2 Source

Forum 3.10.04 Install  (Have source as well but wanted to see how everything worked before I went and messed with the source)

If you don't know, no biggy, I can play around with it some and see if I can make a work around or get it to work.  I hadn't seen any known issues or anything about it so I thought I would ask.

Err yeah hehe.  Ya know...it it usually do that thing that we call reading when attempting to install something like this.  I had the versions mixed up wehn I downloaded em.  Was running 3.10 rather than 3.20.  Works spiffy now.

Quick question now that I am on the subject and have your attention if you don't mind.  I have to manually upload the source files, correct?

The source files can only be applied by copying over on a local install or ftp'ing up to the remote install.  I normally don't keep source files in a production enviroment though.  We seperate this to keep the download smaller as well as the install.

No problem

As Chris says, no need to copy source, unless you are planning to do some coding of course....
