I am searching all over and I can't find the info on this "newfeed explorer".  I want to learn how to use it, ask questions, etc.  But I can't find anywhere on this website that talks about this "newfeed explorer".  This "news module" is the closest place I can find.

Can someone tell me where is the right place to learn/ask questions about the "newfeed exploere"?

We've got a rather long post that discusses it here:

www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/48/threadid/168802/scope/posts/Default.aspx

The above link gives examples of OPML used and some info about how to do it, and I've blogged about it here:

wizzodawg.blogspot.com/2007/09/feedbrowser-hidden-news-agregattor.html

Look at the info, read it, try it, and try it again, because it does work.

Thank you for your reply.

I really need this to work with  xmlUrl="http://news.google.ca/news?hl=en&tab=wn&ned=ca&q=tennis&ie=UTF-8&output=rss".

However, from what I have been reading, the & is causing the problem.  Is this problem fixed/being looked at/or what?  Anyone else also find this as important issue as I? (I can't use this module unless this & is fixed since all my newsfeed from google has many  &s.

Thank you so much.

Well, I don't think that it's a 'bug' really.  It's just a matter of 'escaping' the amp symbol, just like any other special character.  It's easily overcome by editing your OPML, and using the & in place of the single amp char.  I use newsfeed links with the amp char, and they all work with that little mod.  It's no biggie really.

Thank you, I got it working now.  (I have no idea why it did not work before... but I guess you are right- I need to try it and try it and try it some more til it works. )

I now finally have it working.  Thank you so much this is the exact module I need for my site.  My site looks so much more professional/busy because of it.
