How do I go about transferring the machine keys from one web.config file to the next??  I dont know where abouts the machine keys are withing the files.  Also do I paste over ones in there or do I add them in?

Open your previously used web.config file with a text editor like visual NotePad, search for "MachineKey", copy the line.

Open new web.config file, search for "MachineKey", select line and paste line from clipboard.

Save new web.config file.
