I am new to DNN (4.8.0) and am researching how to modify the standard DNN login.  Business requirements for my project require a more robust membership process than what is provided out of the box.

Am I on the correct path in thinking that I need to replace the Authentication component?

Does anyone have an an example like what I am researching that they are willing to share?

Thanks in advance,

-Sean

You will need to create a custom authentication provider if you are looking for a more detailed login proces.

Most likely you will need to couple that with a more advanced user profile module to collect the needed data on registration.

If you want to drop me an e-mail at msellers@iowacomputergurus.com I can try to help you get what you need.
