My company uses DotNetNuke for all own and clients' web activities because it is much easier (i.e. cheaper) to develop rpofessional and secure solutions than developing it from the ground and I haven't encountered yet any other .net  web application framework with the same power.

Ok, I'm ovbiously kidding about the 'making fun of' thing.  My question is serious though, being is there any viable reason why DNN with a C# module solution could not be used for somethings as large as a financial institution, a retail clothing chain, an e-bay style operation, etc?

I think the answer is no, there is no reason why it could not.  I would love to here opinions though.

Thanks,

You should be using DNN.  It's not even comparable to "front page".  DNN is a web framework..now if you extend it using "front page" you may get made fun of :->.

Use DNN, use Virtual web developer to customize.

I work for a large credit union (www.macu.com), rated #31 in the USA for size if I'm not mistaken.  We use DNN for our intranet and I have a couple projects in queue that will be external sites running on DNN.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!  Your comments were EXACTLY what I was hoping to hear.  I appreciate the time you took to provide these examples.

I will obviously press on in this direction.
