I am not sure how to even explain this but i am looking for a module that preferably has a text editor in it and allows me to make a new istance in a similar way that the forum module works, then allows me to assign users or groups to that instance.

In a way very similar to the way the forums and sub forums works but without all of the post numbers etc all i need is a new txt editor in each instance, i wish to place this on the log in page but only want the logged in person to see their info, but also do not want to add a new txt module for each user rather just add to one one module.

hope i have expalined this properly, thanks for any help

Ok thanks Mike, from here i suppose the next best option may be to get a module built to handle the job or continue the search. appreciated.

Hi Pete,

I am not sure if you meant in the Authernitcation context, but you did not mention that in your text, so I thought I'd ask if you have seen the Smart-Thinker UserGroups module. You can set up groups of users (public or private) and they have their own Wall to play with and collaborate (like Groups on Facebook or MySpace). You can see it in action on the poker groups on PokerDIY.

Hello Rodney, i went and had a look at the Wall ? and iam still unclear if this will do what i want, although it seems close.

I need to install the module, create a new entry so to speak, then assign that only selected users see that entry. Then continue to add new entries and with each one select the user/s to see that entry.

I understand that i could create say a new text module for each user, but that would mean hundreds of text modules being added and view settings set for each person, and would rather 1 module that handles it

If this can do this your a champ
