For the Forum Notification you must have enabled this 2 task.

DotNetNuke.Modules.Forum.StartEmailQueuedTasks, DotNetNuke.Modules.Forum
 DotNetNuke.Modules.Forum.CleanupEmailQueuedTasks, DotNetNuke.Modules.Forum

But for the upgrade log, I never have see this before.  Can it be that there was not correctly permission settings to the physical DotnetNuke Path and files by updating or installing your Forum?

We did have some problems that some directories didn't get the right permissions. But that is solved now.

We also had a problem in the beginning that DNN crashed when installing a module.  I later discovered that it was caused by a misconfiguration, but fitst I tried to remove the modules by hand. Maybe that could have something to do with it?

I enabled the two tasks you mentioned. Maybe that will help.

Isn't there a file somewhere that I could adjust so that dotnotnuke knows that the module is already upgraded? Or maybe a change in the database?
