If you are using PageBlaster you need to remove the core compression module from your web.config

Other than that I agree that it is only slow when I first tried to access it. 

You may want to look into YSlow, a plugin for FireFox that will give you more tips on optimizing your site for the best speed.

Look I vew had enough of this discussion.  As I said in the first relpy to this post his site loads quicker than mine does.  Do not change anything it loads really quick

Getns, I have removed the core compression line from the web.config file, and I am currently opening every page to cache it.  I did restart the application.  Paul, I am still competing with the loading time of our old front page based website, perhaps I am not being realistic, but I am trying to give our club members the best work I can, considering I have no idea what I am doing!

Any page that has been cached is now much faster.  The compression setting line in the web.config was slowing it down a bit.  I will test it off and on for the next few days....
