It still tends to run a bit slow, members have complained.  Need to work on it a bit more.  I have been going through all of our pictures and reducing them a bit to help out, and streamlining what I can.

I often use this tool to check if it is my internet connection or the site that is running slow :)

I just setup up a little program called SiteUp on one of my machines and I have it going to every major page on the site every 14 minutes and looking for a word.  It then lets me know if the site is working.  What this seems to be doing is keeping the main pages cached.  That seems to really have helped.  Time will tell, but so far it is helping a lot.

I just implemented Snapsis Page Blaster on my site and reduced page load time by 65% across the site....you might try having a look at that if you really want to modify performance.

I have had previous versions of Page Blaster installed on my site. The first few versions I didn't really see much gain, but this latest version recently released has really made a noticable difference from the previous ones. I also recommend it.
