I have DNN 04.05.05 and Forum 04.04.03. I have some notifications issues, and am hopeful that many will be addressed with the new Forum release. However, since I don’t see this complaint on the ‘Forum’ Forum, I think I must be doing something wrong.

Whenever a Moderator deletes a User post, the User gets a completely blank email, no subject line or content of the email. I don’t want to completely turn off notifications in order to make this problem go away. To make sure there is actual content in the email template, I went to Forum Administration> Email Settings> Manage Templates and the correct content is there in the text and html email templates. Can anyone see what I may be doing wrong? And where can I see when the new Forum release is going to come out?

Thanks

Jennifer

I am not sure whats hapend with it, perhaps it caused with the DNN version or anything was not upgrading.   I think Chris will make a blog post, also you can allways see in the Project Release Tracker what modules are in release process.  But note please if the module failed teh release process it will not released.

I’m afraid I’m more confused now than before. Am I wrong to think that the forum has a new release pending? Please tell me where I can see the blog posts regarding the Forum. I have looked in Blogs and see nothing posted after 2/7/08.

Has anyone out there had a blank email sent to Forum Users whose posts have been deleted? I don’t want to remove notifications, but I also don’t want Users to get a completely blank email notification when their posts are deleted.

Thanks

Jennifer

At time no new Forum version is in release process.   I posted, that it come to be relelase process, that the team lead posted a blog or a post in the forum.  But it is not yet going to release.  So you have wait for it. It will comming soon if a new version will submitted to release tracker.

On my systems all notification emails going as well.
