I would absolutely upgrade, But I don't think it will solve this specific problem.

I have clients having this issue before, I think it should be just "body" tag instead of "#body" as an ID (is that you what you mean Timo?).

No, the body tag has an ID with value Body.

Kind of confusing, I agree, but that's the way to address only the main body tag and not the ones in an iFrame

This is from DNN 04.03.05 default.aspx:

What Timo said, what you see most common in DNN is people set

body
{
background-image: lalalalalal

}

This replaces any body tags in DNN regardless of id. This means you will see the background image in your hmtl/textboxes and any other module that reads your .css file dynamically at edit time. If you do #Body then your only affecting the main body id which is purely unique to the outerlying Body" of the skin. Its a bit confusing and neither is right or wrong. Really depends on your needs, for example I use a black background, with white text, it really helps me to have that background show up in my editors as my default text is all white. You can even stack / combine your css tags to get a nice mix of styling between what shows in the "main Body id" and what shows up in your body tags / editors.
