Ok, I have downloaded DNN. I installed it and I have launched VWD as my IDE. I create a new web site and point to the DNN template. I get an HTML page. No design/developer components. I can't seem to understand the difference between DNN and the core VWD components. Again, newbie question so bear with me. What am I missing here? Is the design/development the same but the management of content is better in DNN or am I just not getting it.

On the downloads page there is a starter kit that can be downloaded and worked with. That's a good place to start.
