We just finished installing a DNN site for the first time for a client (and boy did we have problems with 3Essentials!  Turned out to be a setting they had wrong to begin with, but it took several days and lots of emails trying to configure it correctly before that was found).  Anyway, the site shows the "page under construction" for some people who access it, but other people using other computers can access the site fine -- it automatically takes them to defaul.aspx.  And if you get the error page, you can still then type in /default.aspx and it'll take you to the right place.  Anyone have any ideas on a setting to fix this?  Thanks.

Ensure that AutoUpgrade is not set to true, ensure that your portal alias doesn't have a trailing / at the end

Hmmm, I checked on that, and those settings were what they should by, and it still does it.  We haven't tested it to an extreme, but after checking the site on at least 8 computers, and several Internet connections, it seems like it only does it on computers which have DotNetNuke installed on them (and also had the project on them as a VS project, prior to being uploaded to the site).  So, it could be something having to do with that; it isn't just any computer that this happens on, but the ones that the site was originally developed on.  Some settings could be off because of that..  The strange is, it will happen just when going from one page on the portal to the home page.  And then clearing the extra stuff on the URL in the browser, to go back to the site home page, will go to the page and not to the "under construction" page.  It's just an annoying little thing that doesn't absolutely need to be dealt with, but bugs us none the less.
