Hey Vie,

Unfortunately those error messages aren't entirely specific -- probably one reason why you are having some trouble figuring them out...

To answer your question -- the best for installing to a shared environment is the "Install" package. Again, try to make sure that the Network Service account has the appropriate file system permissions or it just plain won't work.

I would suggest creating a fresh application with a fresh installation package and trying to verify as best you can that all of the files were in fact transferred up, then verifying that file system permissions are applied to the entire directory. After that, modify your web config with an updated connection string to a new database (its a good idea not to reus an old one that is partially installed...). After you have been able to all of those steps -- I would then try to hit the install wizard and see how it goes!!
