I have problems understanding DNN, and I need your help. I'm using DotNetNuke Dynamic Module as a mean to create a test module. Everything appears to work fine; the test module was created; test page was generated; gridView displayed test table correctly. However, as soon as I want to sort my gridView, I ran into trouble - it seems that my module didn't catch the OnSorting event. I tried to bind it, but still didn't work. Can you kindly direct me to the proper ways to bind the event handlers?

Why DNN module did not receive the OnSorting event even though the GridView AllowSorting="true"? Should DNN default to capture all event that were generated by the PortalModuleBase, and IActionable? Please note that, without DNN, my gridView sorts just fine, no problem.

Thanks for the reply. I code in C#, and you're correct in that DNN do not handle this event.

I tried to write OnSorting event handler, and registered it with the page, but still it didn't work. Can you kindly provide me with an example of how you would do that?
