I have one child portal running AD. I'm trying to put the direct link to the signin page in an HTML module. When I use

http://<DotNetNuke_Install>/DesktopModules/AuthenticationServices/ActiveDirectory/WindowsSignin.aspx

it always redirects back to the parent portal following authentication. Is there any way to have it return to the kid instead?

I'd have to do some testing but I think if you put a copy of WindowsSignin.aspx and WindowsSignin.aspx.vb (you can find it in the .resources (just the extension to .zip) in the source install) in your child portal directory and direct to that it should work.

I tried that and got some odd behavior. I may not have copied the vb file though, just the aspx. Let me give it another shot.

I put both files in the root folder of the child (where default.aspx resides, as opposed to the kid's number in the portals folder) and strange things happen. I can't switch out of edit view, I can't log out, I can't update anything, etc. When I put the two files in the portals/ChildNumber folder instead, then I throw the dreaded "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error.
