Please guys if you can help me... as I have mess something up big time...

Well, we had a dnn site for some time now... and I was trying to add new module as always... so I was on install new module, and the installation went ok. I then click home page in the navigation, and the loading take the centuries... after 10 minutes or so, I closed the browser and try to open new one, and now I cannot load site at all – like its building something, but just hangs on... so basically I cannot open the site on the first place, to allow me to log in and check the event viewer, log or anything...

PLEASE, what I have to do to see my site at all????????

Few more infos: I have reasonable knowledge of dnn (and asp.net); I have update various dnn sites, added and removed various modules always without any problems – this is the first time I cannot even see sites home page????? The site is hosted on godaddy on shared hosting, so I can go in godaddy control panel (if needed, although I am not quite sure why should I be in there on the first place)...

Please anyone – I will appreciate any advice, as I have to sort out this asap – otherwise, my bosses will ....

Thank you. Pol

try to restart application, either by restarting IIS or at least by opening and saving web.config file.

Hi Leopold.

Thank you for reply.

The problem is I cannot see the site at all – it seems that it cannot build itself – so I cannot do anything on the site itself as such.

I can access the files on the site either through my ftp, or through godaddy’s control panel... but, as didn’t have ever before problem like this, I am not sure what has to be done, as I don’t want to do something even worse (as it can be worse?).

Please, what I should do to restart application (so I have access only on godaddy control panel, and with ftp of course), and not lose everything what is already there (to be true, I am little bit scared to mess with it until I am not 100% sure to do – and I hope you advance guys can advice me...)

I will wait for your advice... (I simple have to somehow sort this out) – thank you in advance. P
