Hi,

I have upgraded recetnly an live website was running on 4.8.0 to 4.8.4. thought that the problem will be fixed but it still the same which annoy me and annoying client also with very low perofrmance website.

after checking the Event Viewer i noticed that the application keeps shutting down and starting freguently like every minutes and sometimes every 30 seconds. and the reason of the shutting is as the event viewer says " Shutdown Details: The AppDomain shut down because of the hosting environment."

is there any fix for this issue ?! the site is working slow and getting compiled for every single hit

This generally is an IIS issue, and the site is being unloaded due to inactivity.  The normal configuration shuts things down after 30 minutes of inactivity.  It shouldn't be every few seconds.

Hi Joe,

Thanks for your reply. if its an IIS issue, what it could be in IIS. !? what type of settings !? beside i did xcopy the whole application to another server with deferent hosting company. and it still the same on the new hosting.. 
I am using some modules that are developed to use LINQtoSQL which made me enable .NET3.5.  does this issue of using .NET3.5 and LINQ might be the problem ?
