Ashok,

Can you provide some details about what you are searching for in your child portal? What content is in which modules? In other words - what are you expecting to be returned?

Thanks,

Ian

Hi Ashok, please clear search tables (as described here) and reindex in Host :: Search Administation, before re-querying from child portals again

Dear Lan,

In the parent portal (ie Portalid:0) when i enter the keyword such as skins i am getting a result set as ( DotNetNuke® Community Services - Relevance: 1001
Visit The DotNetNuke Marketplace! Extra functionality can be added to this application.../Website/Default.aspx?tabid=36 - 10/11/2007 10:04:46 AM) and at the same time when i enter into portalid:5 or 6 (ie Child Portals) and specify the same keyword skins, i am not getting any of the results. It is displayed blank. Please suggest me.

Thanks ,

Ashok...

Ashok,

I guess we have two tasks here to verify.

1) Make sure that the search terms you are looking for actually exist on your pages - such as within a text/html module.

2) take the advice offered above and re-index your search content

Let us know how it goes after you do that.

Take care,

Ian
