I have already asked this in the Gallery Forum - but it's very quiet over there...

I have a site which runs under Visual Web Developer with the ASP.Net development server and under IIS. Both share the same directory. Everything works except for the gallery module under IIS. Under VWD I can create albums and photos. Under IIS I get the error below (from log file).

All the other pages/modules seem to be working identically in both environments.

Any ideas anyone?

You might want to look at this post in the Galery forum. It works for me. http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsDotNetNuke/tabid/795/forumid/9/threadid/16805/scope/posts/Default.aspx

Hello txghia58

I've already been there - in fact I am in that thread and had found a minor bug in the gallery module. This appears to be a different problem.

I do not understand DNN internals. Nor do I have Visual Studio to debug it. I am trying to see the difference between the development environment and coming in through IIS - in terms of DNN code's path. IIS and the ASP.Net development web server run as different users with different privileges. And possible VWD does 'something' before passing the file system to ANDWS. Another difference would be host headers.

I was just hoping someone had seen all this before. I am trying to build DNN 4.0.2 in a VB# plus VWD environment.
