Hi

I used to switch from 4.5.3 to 4.8.0 and now need to switch to 4.8.4 source code version to applied more modification.

When upgraded from 4.5.3 to 4.8 the DLL in bin folders gave me a headache.

Is there a lot of Achitect change from 4.8 to 4.8.4?

Has anyone try moving from regular install to source code version? what is the catch I shall heed for? Are the steps in the forums so i can follow?

upgrade from DNN 4.8.0 to 4.8.4 works w/o issues and you need not to touch web.config manually.

to switch to source version you might need to restructure the site, since in this package, the Web Site directory is located in subfolder "WebSite" and there are solution files on level about and Library folder on same level. Make sure to adopt paths inside the .sln files according to your local configuration before starting VisualStudio.
