hi,

I have some problems with new version 4.0 and I would replace the previous version (3.1.1).

How can I do? I could loose my newsfeeds URL in the installed modules?

thanks

usually you should restore latest backup from before the installation. If not possible, you need to uninstall and reinstall previous version, which will kill all existant module instances in all portals of the DNN installation.

You could do the following:

1. Set version nr in SQL in DesktopModules to 03.01.01

2. Delete DesktopModules/News

3. Delete Newsfeeds tables in SQL

4. Upload old Newsfeeds PA
