Is it possible that users can only add a new record or view records created by themselves?

Thanks

worked this out

put the following filter statement under grid table settings

[Created By_UDT_Original] = '[User:UserName]'

& also ticked Users are only allowed to manipulate their own items. under User Defined Table Settings

there is also provided a standard XSL file "only own items" - but the above solution is preferable, since you can take advantage of all other grid view features (search, sorting ...).

Don't forget to enable the security setting "Users are only allowed to manipulate their own items."

Otherwise your users would be able to edit foreign rows by guessing the rowid and manipulating the url!
