I don't think I'm getting enough sleep :)

the form.xml file is part of the template for 'uploading' items, sorry again

the template for displaying items is, template.html/template.xml, so make the change to
Dotnetnuke\DesktopModules\Repository\Templates\default\template.xml

and you should be good

We may be getting closer but it's still not working. When I place the code in the template.xml it launches a blank page instead of a page with the thumbnail. Still not launching the pdf as I want.

I tried it with both and uppercase TRUE and a lower case true. The uppercase one made it start launching the thumbnail again.

Any other ideas on how to get this working?

Bump. Anyone have any suggestions on this? I'd really like to get this working if possible. Just to recap, I'm trying to get the thumbnail to launch the file in te repository when clicked on.

in your template.html file are you using the [IMAGE] token? or the [THUMBNAIL] token?

Also, check your Download Roles on the module settings page, if the user you are logged in as is  not a member of an authorized Download Role, then the download will be blocked by the module.
