Hi, I like the module cos I can easily alter the HTML. Yay! However, I'd like to have the module appear many times on my site and I notice that the email asking me to approve the image does not tell me the page the module is on. (There is also a label in the moderator email called 'File Uploaded:' but it does not show any value/path/image - is this an error?)

Therefore I would have to search through 100s of pages to find the module that needed moderation? Can't do that,  so I thought maybe I can go to the DNN file manager and just move the image from the Pending folder into the Repository (Approved) folder - however the image does not appear when I do this.

The email does tell me the portal name - where is this token kept? Can I replace it with [tab:title] thereby having the page title show in the email? Is there a simple way of doing this cos I have read your info on token replacement but it is too hard for me to follow.

One last question, can I remove the CATEGORIES <TR></TR> in the form.html without doing any damage? Thanks for your time!

Jess

As usual, with a bit of tinkering I have solved my problems. I was using the Portfolio skin and all I had to do was fool around with the moderate upload ascx files and the portolio form ascx file. You can't change the values of the emails sent but you can change the text that goes in the body and the subject.

I creatively changed the user's name field in the repository to force the user to enter the name of the page as though it were a perfectly logical query and in the email body changed the empty () characters into a sort of smiley face at the start of the email ():-) which yes looks stupid but hey! Now when I get the email it tells me which page the module is on so i can go and moderate it.

As a feature request, would love the comments to be able to be moderated as well, as well as a more comprehensive Help Guide. The forum is great but numbered Step by Steps is invaluable. Is there a DNN User Guide Wiki anywhere where tutorials can be provided by users?

Look at the Resources->Documentation items here at dotnetnuke.com for some help in general on DNN. There is also a Repository Modules Admin and Users Guide on the project's Downloads page.

Glad you got your problems worked out...

and yes, you can remove any of the tokens from the html template files without problems, they are only used to display content, removing them just results in the token's content not being displayed.
