Hello:

I'm installing DotNetNuke 4.9.0 in Windows Vista (for testing other enviroment) and Windows 2003 machines (for production). The site installation run perfect, the site work pefect in local mode http://localhost or http://192.168.1.2 (the local IP), but when I try to enter from other machines, the Internet Explorer say me "Internet Explorer do not show the page" !!!!! I don't know what is append!!!! the firewall is disabled, an the machines are conected (the file share run OK)

Any idea?? Thanks

you need to add external address in dotnetnuke as additional portal alias: log in locally as host, go to Portals in host menu, select your portal and scroll down settings page to the far end. add the external address www.mydowmain.com or mypc as additional Portal alias.
