My SQL server died and I think i have restored the correct database in the new SQL.

But on version Version 04.05.03 I get that error

The stored procedure 'dbo.GetPortalAliasByPortalID' doesn't exist.

Sure enough, the DB doesn't have that stored proceedure.

Do you think I have restored the DB wrong from the backup or do I have another access problem?

please check the 2nd line of the error message as well. usually there is an error accessing the database, did you make sure, login credentials are still correct and login user has proper permissions for the database?

We figured it out.

It was just  a problem with the method we used to restore the Database.

Once we did it the correct way and made sure that particular stored proceedure showed up it was back up and working.

Thanks!
