Ok, I'm getting rather frustrated with how DNN Blog Module handles text cut'n'pasted from Visual Studio into the body of the blog entry.  Look at the following entry (about 2/3 of the way down).

http://www.pchenry.com/Home/tabid/36/EntryID/36/Default.aspx

new MailMessageEventHandler(PasswordRecovery_SendingMail);

There is a portion of text NOT VISIBLE!  WTF?  If you look at the text beneath that, you'll see an entire method there but it's NOT color coded cause I gave up on it last night!  And no, the Code Style up top in the editor doesn't work cause it marks it properly in the editor but when it's rendered to viewers it's the same problem.  If this is not supported, how do other people do this?

I use the code formatter at manoli.net for most of my code, though I have other formatters that I've found for SQL and JavaScript

Hope it helps,

This looks very promising, thank you very much for the suggestion, I'm going to try it out tomorrow night!  Thanks again.

To add to Brian's comment, if you use Windows Live Writer to publish, use any of the Code formatting plugins.

As an example: http://gallery.live.com/liveItemDetail.aspx?li=1f57bd9b-a692-4593-9e9e-e2962d9c0eee&bt=9&pl=8

Hi Phenry,

even if you don't have a 3rd party module that enables the metaWebLog support on your installation, you can install a Code Snippet Insertion Tool for Windows Live Writer, insert your code in WLW, switch to HTML view and cut and paste the HTML chunk that is generated. This is a workaround in the wait of the built in support for the metaweblog support.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa
