I have 4.09 installed & was wondering what the best way to modify the funky Welcome to DotNetNuke html/text container. I noticed when editing text & looking at the source code there is some nice features (like vendor banners) etc in there.

Would i create a blank page then copy the code? Use Visual Studio?

Im guessing that whatever the solution is here, it would be the same for creating a nice newsletter that could be emailed out.

Thanks in advance

All of the html experts here just seem to edit the code in place.  Since I am not, I usually start out in Expressions Web and then cut and past from the source view to source view so I can make sure to not bring in any of the "<<body>>" tags or other unneeded codes.
