EasyCGI's VPS is still down and their support is totally unresponsive now. Day 5, going on 6. We've not even been offered another location to host the sites. EasyCGI just took us offline and ignored us. Is there anything worse a hosting company can do to their customers?

We've switched hosts to LiquidWeb.com. It's still Virtuozzo, but they do claim replacement/restorations in 30 minutes. Obviously we have our own backups so our customers didn't have to feel the wraith of EasyCGI's incompetence and wrongful business practices.

EasyCGI is the WORST!!!.. Already 6 days down. We have 2 VPS hosted with them. One of them just came alive a few hours ago but it is completely destroyed. We are just transfering our files to another provider.

NEVER...., NEVER...., NEVER contract their service. Technical support is the worst.. That chat assistance is simple joke.

It is increadible they didn't have an emergency plan in place when the problem arised when they did.

EasyCGI is still down, going on about 10 days of downtime. My last support ticket is below. We had invested a week in migrating to their VPS plan which is now empty of all the work we did, and support seems to think all is well. We just wanted to grab a few things off there and cancel the account obviously. I have no problems exposing them while I wait.

I like how support addresses me in quotes and lowercase 'jason'

-----------------------------

Hello Jason,

Thank you for contacting us.

I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. I have checked your account ‘jason’ and noticed that your account is migrated to the new platform. However, I was able to connect your VPS server 209.34.166.164 without any issue from our end. Could you please try to connect the VPS from your end? If you are not able to connect the VPS then, please get back to us with the plesk username and password.

Please reply to this e-mail with the requested information, so that we can assist you further.

Sincerely,

Von Kelly
