Ah, well.  It was just a thought.  Pitty though.  Apache, MySQL, and PHP work so slick from just a 2gb stick.  (And the cool factor is very high.)  I wish I could do the same with ASP.NET and SQL Express.  However, thanks for the feedback.

FWIW, Apache, MySQL and PHP have no configuration outside the application itself.  Same for most Unix-style applications.  Windows apps are almolst always heavily intertwined with the operating system.  Two different design philosophies.  You might try Apache and Mono, but you'd need to write a database provider for MySQL.
