I have followed everything that is written in the forums as to how to configure the dev version which I just downloaded. Everything was working fine up to the point that I get the below error message. I have tried everything. Any ideas would be highly appreciated!!!

Thanks!

(changes to the file don't change the error message which stays on the same line even if I delete the content of the called method!?)

Hi YanivH,
I encountered the same error on my development server.  As it turned out, I had copied over an older version of DotNetNuke.dll.  Check the version of your Bin\DotNetNuke.dll file. It should be 4.9.0.85.

problem is, that this is a general error message, making it impossible to lock down the problem properly with the given error text.

Did you try to restart the application? Did this start after you changed a setting or installed a new module, provider or skin?

Since this is an error related to worker process, I will recommend placing your website in a dedicated application pool, restart the IIS and check if this resolves your issue.
