I have created a new skin located in the portals/_default/skins folder in a folder called mySkin.  In the folder i have skin.html, skin.ascx, and a folder called images.  In my html file I have tabe cells like this:

<

td id="logoPane" runat="server" style="width: 415px; background: url(/images/logo.png)"> I log into my site at http://localhost and go to admin > skins.  I choose the ksin 'mySkin' click parse, I then see the image.  WHen I click apply, I see no image, and when I click home, I still see no image.  I'm guessing its an issue with the url() for my image.  I had a similar issue before and Josh helped me out, but I had to format my pc and install DNN fresh (latest version).  THe problem I was having then was a css issue.(not using css this time)  On the home page, all I see is the names of the different panes with no background images. I'm at a loss, any help would be awesome.

you may need to place <%= SkinPath %> before your path so for example url(<%= SkinPath %>/images/logo.png) do this in the skin.ascx

see if that helps
