We are using DNN v4.8.2. I am experiencing some strange behavior with the forums module. A thread that I deleted from the forum is still being returned from the site search. Forum search does not return the thread in question. I looked in the SearchItem table, the thread posts are still listed there, they were never deleted.

Any Ideas?

Have you running the SearchEngineScheduler in the Host/Scheduler ?  I think it's needed to update the search list.

Yes, I have the SearchEngineScheduler running every 10 minutes. After several days, the entry was still not removed from the SearchItem table. I had to manually remove that row from the table.

I just noticed something else: only the most recent thread posted is stored in the SearchItem table. I started several new threads, posted replies, even started a new forum. The last posted thread is the only entry in the SearchItem table.

Is the forum module not intended to be used with the site search, and only the forum search?
