Hi Guys,

I'm trying to install DotNetNuke for the first time and when I run the CUSTOM INSTALL, i reach the following step below. When I hit next on this step I get this error below.

Wizard Step:

Install Optional Skins and Containers

DotNetNuke has a rich skinning capability. On this page you can choose the optional Skins and Containers to install.

Installing a Skin and/or container does not automatically enable it, but it makes the skin available to you.

Skins

No Optional Skins to Install

Containers

No Optional Containers to Install

 Hi all,

I have same problem with DotNetNuke Instalation (version 4.9.0, Source Package; I tried to install full package).

I spent whole day yesterday and I didn't find any solution.

My platform is Windows Server 2003 SP2 and SQL Server 2005 SP2.

I noticed that this package don't contain any files in Install/Skin and Install/Container folders, and I copied them from Source Package, version 5.0.

But, that didn't help.

Any help? I notice first message has posted one month ago, and there is no a answer?

Is this forum right place, or I waste my time?

Regards,

Miodrag

 Hi,

I almost gave up, but I found a solution.

I noticed in the error message's stack trace next line:

DotNetNuke.Authentication.ActiveDirectory.HttpModules.AuthenticationModule.OnAuthenticateRequest(Object s, EventArgs e) +51

In Step Authenticate Services I DIDN'T check Active Directory option, and finally my installation passed through Optional Skinning Step and was finished sucessfully. Yeah...

Please let me know, does it help anybody  or not

Best Regards,

Miodrag
