As the title said, I have a set of CSS-based HTML templates with JQuery menu and toolbox and would like to translate as DNN skins.

I have experienced to use simple table-based template before and even the DNN Skin guide illustrates the table-based templates only.  So I feel a bit skeptical if I'll lose some CSS styles like positioning, background images in elements...

Is there anything I should watch for or any good tips, thanks!

Pure Css templates have been done successfully, the only issue you may have is the positioning the content panes, as unless you know what is going into those panes you could have some undesired effects if content busts out of the panes so to speak..

Good to hear.

By looking at the generated HTML codes, I am also guessing my css files may have been interferenced by the DNN css files too.  Need to take a closer look....

Okay, I think I may find the cultprit.  The v13wstat3 form element has a style tag: style="height:100%;".  I remove it manaully and seem to fix my CSS issue.

Any idea where can I remove this style tag inserted by DNN?

Great, that should do the trick. Thanks.

On a second thought, so there is no other way other than hacking the core codes?  I am hoping it can be done in a more graceful way.  But if this is my only option, so be it.
