Hi everyone,

I would like to learn that under shared web hosting plans which consist of windows 2008+IIS7, does DNN 4.9.0 work without any problems? Because web hosting company is warning that under windows 2008+IIS7 some modules may not be compatible.

What do you say? Should I choose windows 2008+IIS7 or stick to windows 2003+IIS6?

I think the primary concern with 2k8 will be the trust level for the application, if all your modules work fine in Medium trust you shouldn't have any issues. If you find modules that require full trust those might have problems running against 2k8.

I run all my development that I do at home on Vista which uses IIS7 without any troubles.

I am not aware of modules, which don't run with IIS7 & ASP.Net 3.5 - and it has for sure better performance.
