Hello people...

I have a little question. I'm developing a new site for which I want to have a different logo for every season. So a sunny logo for the summer, snowy logo for the winter etc. etc.

Does anyone know if this is possible in DNN (5) without manually having to change the logofile every season.

Thnx a lot!

Marcel

It's not possible with DNN currently, but you could probably write a simple module/skin object to do this.

This isn't necessarily true.

Within the skin file, if building an .ascx skin you can include code that could calculate which image to display, it takes a bit of work, but is fully possible to do within a skin.

True, but my point was you can't do it with the current DNN logo setting and a skin. You can configure whatever asp.net code you like in the skin to sub in an image you like, based on any logic you write. Or you could put that logic into a skinoject and include it in a skin that way.

you can look into using CSS and some simple javascript to accomplish this.

This site shows an example of switching css based on time, but you can do it with seasons according to months.

Hope this helps!
