Hi everyone,

I had issues with the Repository module after moving our application from Development to Test. After the moving, when click on the Edit link or the UPLOAD button, I was redirected to the page showing:

Either you are not currently logged in, or you do not have access to this content.

But I was logged in as an administrator. Anyone experienced this before? Any idea what could cause this?

I posted the same question on the Implementation forum. But found this forum later, so post it here too.  Thanks a lot!

log in using the HOST account, then go to the module settings page and at the bottom, expand the Repository settings and make sure the physcial location of the files matches your new environment

The physical holder had already been updated to match the new environment. In my development, it's "c:\src\dotnetnukeroot\website...", in my Test environment, it's "c:\dotnetnukeroot\website...". Before I made the change, the image of the thumbnails of the documents even could not display. After the change, the thumbnail images show up correctly.

If I login into my Test server and access the application locally, then there's no problem to see the edit page after click on the Edit link or the UPLOAD button. The issue appears only when I tried to access the application through it's DNS url, like dnn.test.com/dnn/.... The thumbnail images shill show up correctly, only the edit page gave me the error "Either you are not currently logged in, or you do not have access to this content".

Should the physical folder name be changed to the server name? or it should start with "c:\"? What would be the best approach?

Thank you very much. I really appreciate your help.

Also, in my Test environment, I can download all the files without problem which means the physical location of the files should be correct. Only it prevents me to Edit the existing one or to upload new ones. Thanks for any insight.

I looked at the source code and there's this checking in form.aspx.vb:

' make sure the user got here from an upload button and not
' directly via pasting a URL into the browser address
If Request.Params.Item("HTTP_REFERER") Is Nothing

Then
    Response.Redirect(NavigateURL(Access Denied",....
End If

I'm thinking this could be the place why it redirected me to the Access Denied page. I logged into my Test server and accessed the app on it using Localhost. After the Edit/Upload New page showed up, I copied the url, then went to another page, then paste the url and hit Go, it gave me the same error, even a minute earlier the url displayed the page correctly.

The server hosting the dotnetnuke app is only one of our Test servers and we have a Load Banlencer to redirect traffic. There are iRules we wrote when the url has this specific sub-rountine, the request will go direct to this DotNetNuke server. Could this cause the Request.Params.Item("HTTP_REFERER") to be nothing?

Steve - please add me to the user list to test the next version of the Repository module. Thank you very much for all the good work!
