Hi Robrichard,

to add an issue on Gemini at support.dotnetnuke.com you need to register, and add your issue to the public DNN core and modules (DNNP). The support team will move your issue to the right project according to your description.

Eventual exceptions are logged by the modules and by the core in the Event Viewer. To see it, you need to login as admin or host and goto Admin > Event Viewer. More help about this may be found in the online DNN help.

You can mail me the web address at dario.rossa[at]dotnetnuke-italia.it.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

I am having the same problem as robrichard.  Users cannot post comments, even though it is configured to allow comments by all users (even unregistered) without approval.  See my site:  www.elemental-learning.com

Hi Mike,

the comments feature doesn't work on your website because the entire Entry view doesn't work. I guess this issue is related to the friendly URLs being turned off at host level and turned on at Blog level. Could you try logging in as host and turn on Friendly URLs?

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

Dario,

Thanks for getting back to me.  Unfortunately I must report that I *do* have Friendly URLs turned on at the host level.  I just have to check the "Use Friendly URLs?" checkbox, correct?    (as opposed to actually adding a new rule manually, which I have not done)

I have noticed another problem which may be related to the first problem.  When I go into the blog's Module Options area, it looks strange.  Many of the rows have the radio button/checkbox control but no descriptor to the left of the control.  For example in the area called "Vertical" I just see the stuff in the right hand column (the avatars, the checkboxes, the radio buttons, etc.) but there is nothing at all in the left column.

I tried to reinstall the module hoping that would fix the problem, but it does not.  Can you help?  Thanks!

Mike
