Alright, I downloaded the DotNetNuke 3.x latest version for use with my ASP.NET v1.1 server (a shared hosting plan). I want to use Visual Studio .NET to edit the code.

Here's the trouble -- I'm not sure how to make the combination work. I need to make it it's own web app, but I have all the source code including a project file on my hard drive. I was wondering, what's the best way to go about this so that it's synchronized?
  • Should I start a new web app in VS.NET and import all the files?
  • Should I upload the files and then select "open project from web" in VS.NET?
  • Should I open the .vbproj file that came with it, then see if there's a "deploy" or "relocate" option in VS.NET?
I just want to know how to go about it so I can start playing with it. What do you think the best solution would be here?

Thanks in advance for all your help!
